What should be paid attention to when using graphite equipment?

1. Graphite equipment manufacturers should handle and lift them gently, without touching or dragging them to the ground. Graphite components should not be pried or directly tied with steel wire ropes. Protective measures should be taken for graphite components exposed outside the metal shell.

2. After assembly, if welding or gas cutting is required on the steel shell, the effectiveness of the graphite and sealing components should be ensured (water can be filled inside the shell), otherwise the graphite components should be removed.

3. During use, it is necessary to regularly check whether the discharged cooling water or condensate contains components of another material. If leakage is found, the vehicle should be stopped for maintenance in a timely manner.

4. The inlet and outlet valves of the opening and closing equipment should be operated slowly to avoid strong material impact on Russia.

5. The medium, temperature, and pressure range used should strictly comply with the design specifications, and should not be used beyond the specified temperature or pressure range, nor subjected to sudden changes in temperature or pressure.

6. As a heater, when driving, the material should be supplied first and then steam should be supplied; When used as a cooling or condenser, the cold carrier should be introduced first and then the material should be introduced. When parking, reverse the order to avoid sudden cold and heat.

7. When assembling PTFE 0-type sealing rings for round block hole heat exchangers at high operating temperatures, they should be soaked in boiling water before assembly. After several hours of initial use of the new equipment, the cooling or condensed water inside the shell should be checked for any components of the treated material. If there is a leak, the longitudinal rod bolts should be tightened in a timely manner.

8. If materials and cooling water contain substances that are prone to crystallization, scaling, and blockage of flow channels, they should be cleaned regularly. Depending on the specific situation, chemical or mechanical cleaning can be used.
